Africa Petroleum Storage and Transport Apestrans 2011
APestrans 2011: 12-13th October, Chad

Overview

Cubic Globe Ltd and Partners are pleased to introduce you to the Africa Petroleum Storage and Transport (APESTRANS 2011) to be held in N’Djamena, Chad alongside the Chad International Oil Mining and Energy Conference and Exhibition CIOME 2011.

The Africa continent is going through a major transformation due to the high price of oil. As a result, the supply chain industry has to follow the trend and be more innovative in its approach towards all the parties involved in this transaction.  APESTRANS 2011 is an opportunity to discuss the design, operation and quality control procedures of the inland network of African crude oil production and gas facilities, stabilisation plants, pipeline distribution storage and transfers to integrated terminals.

The import and export of petroleum products needs more adequate state of the art technologies and facilities for storage and shipping.  APESTRANS 2011 is an important opportunity to meet African and international stakeholders involved in the storage and transport of the petroleum and mineral products and to discuss its geopolitics.

The $4.2 billion Chad-Cameroon Oil Development and Pipeline Project (1070 km long) is the largest private sector investment in sub-Saharan Africa. The construction was completed in 2003. This project demonstrates the complexity of the transport of the petroleum products in Africa and is a landmark pipeline project.

Alongside this conference, an exhibition will be held to also enable companies involved in this segment of the petroleum industry to present their services and their expertise.
